Complete Interior Swap->->->
Complete Interior Swap->->->
I plan on taking the complete interior from a 98 Trans Am and putting it into a 91 GTA. I'm going to swap EVERTHING. I know it can be done because I saw pics of Camaro 'vert that had a 4thgen interior and it was sweet! BTW, can someone post pics of that Camaro with the 4thgen interior?? All the guy has on his website are exterior pics.
What do I need to be ready for interms of modifying the door inserts and the dash w/instrumentation and stuff. I know it's going to be VERY expensive and time consuming but I'm ready for it. It will be worth it in the end..... I also plan on customizing a boost guage into the right side of the tach like the TTA. (It's going to have a supercharged TPI 383
)

There was a thread about this a few weeks ago, and I had a pretty long post in it. Do a search.
In essence though, I did a similar swap, but with another car. Here are the main clues:
1. Get a complete donor car, not only the parts you think you'll need. You'll need way more!
2. Patience and time! It WILL take a lot, don't give up!
3.THINK! There will be a bunch of questions where you really have to consider all options before making a decision, take your time and ask for inputs from others.
Oh, and to answer one of your questions - about the dash - you will need to swap the entire wiring harness from the other car. You can possibly make it work with your old one with some serious electric work, but it will be less painful with a complete swap.
Good luck, and let's know how it goes - should be a great project.
