They're called louvers, but I can't help you with the other questions. Maybe look in the thirdgen classifieds.

They'll cost around 150-250 depending on the manufacturer. Don't expect the dealer to have any. I found mine last fall and only 3 were left in the country. I called on all 3 and only was was ever found. MINE!! They can also be purchased thru Classic Industries or most aftermarket accessory companies.

My set are Cragars, that were an OE option on 1986 Z/28s. Please, if you opt for a louver, don't get the cheap looking ones, try and find a set that follow the contours of the car nicely.

Look for pics called "dirty.jpg" and you'll see the ones I mean.

I have been searcing for hours. The only one I have been able to find is at jcwhitney.com It cost 259 but does not say what name brand it is. How can I tell if it is any good? Do you think it comes painted? How hard is it to install, it says you don't need tools, how does it install. Here is the address of it. http://www.jcwhitney.com/productnoit...ml?CATID=60542 THanks alot!!
