What are some good leather alternatives? I am going to the extreme with my car. What I need to know is, are there any GOOD leather alternatives. I would like a material that looks and feels just like leather, but costs less. I found something at www.selectproducts.com that claims to feel like leather, and costs 24.95 for a 54"x36" piece (1 Linear yard). Thanks guys.

Also, how hard would it be for me to get a new headliner board and cover it with leather or vinyl? Thanks.

Anyone know where to find actual leather? I just need about a yard....I want to redo my upper door panels in leather.

 

Vinyl would be a good alternative.

You can find leather at any upholstery shop, be it automotive or home. Or you could just kill a cow.

I checked out a bunch of upholestry shops, and they wouldn't sell it by the yard. I haven't looked into any automotive one's yet, but the home one's only sell large amounts, like to do a couch...

Anyone know of any specific places on-line or in CT by any chance??

And I really don't want vinyl, I want straight up leather. There's a HUGE difference IMO.
