oxidation in drivers door

oxidation in drivers door

how do i remove oxidation in the paint? is there a way i can buff it out or is there a special compound that will help>??

If its not too bad a good cleaner with oxidation remover will work. I like driwash&guards cleaner. But if you go to wal mart or something look for a mothers or meguires cleaner. I have used both on my sisters red car out in DC, and it brought that car back to life. Pretty good considering its waxed once every 2years or whenever I visit.

Quick Pic for ya I used my cleaner on the Hood of one of the work trucks. The right side of the hood I did came out looking pretty good. 1978kenworth never painted.

Try a good paint polish (which is easier to work with than rubbing compound). If that doesn't work then wetsand with 1500-2000 grit, then use the paint polish. This is how I fixed my badly oxidized hood.
