headliner
My 84 Z28 has TTops (that leak) but no headliner. The headliner was not in the car when I purchased it. I was thinking about putting plastic up and then covering it. Has anyone tried? How much did it cost. I looked in a Year One catalog and it is going to cost me over $200 to get a new headliner. Anyway to get it cheaper and it still look sweet.
you could get one from a boneyard and recover it, but I've heard that t-top headliners are a pain to recover. I'm thinkin you should get that leak taken care of first though, it's probably the reason the original headliner isn't there.
Definetely go with a new one from a boneyard. My friend found one in absolutely flawless condition for 1/10 the price Year One charges.
If you find a headliner that needs restoration its not that abd ither just got ot and go to the Tech page there nad it'll tell you what to do.
Hope that helps.
