WOW - only 14 lb! What's it made of? I hope there's not too much "bumping" going on with that bumper.

Anyway, here's a free bump for ya. (Couldn't resist)

What's it made out of? The lsiting did not say. If fiberglass then leave it alone.

I sure wouldn't want a 1 piece unit, to many things can happen to the chin and it would suck that you would have to replace the entire front bumper just to fix it.

Re: 1 piece front bumper... has anyone bought this?

I got one and I love it much more then the OEM style urethane front bumpers. Its significantly more sturdy then the OEM front bumper and alot lighter. Its a lot more paint friendly and it doesn't have the deformed shape the OEMs get. It fits like a glove too.
I understand others concerns with it being fiberglass but this a very high quality piece that shouldn't have the issues of cheap fiberglass body components. Yes it wont be as forgiving in a front end collision but a simple solution to that is don't hit anything. Look at my build thread if you want to see it being installed on my car and after its painted. Ill probably put clear plasti dip or clear vinyl on the bottom of my chin. I should also tell you to NOT buy it from that ebay seller. I had a horrible experience trying to order it from that seller. Order it directly from Stinger Fiberglass.

Not true! Fiberglass is very easy to repair.

Yep, that is why I do not buy fiberglass bumper covers. Now I have not issues with fiberglass spoilers.

Re: 1 piece front bumper... has anyone bought this?

Fiberglass is very easy to work with and repair, I can understand if you can't judge pulling up to a curb and destroy your chin on it, but I like to think I can drive, if I ever need a new nose, I would probably buy the one piece

On top of that the bottom of my chin has zero damage other than a rock chip or two, my lower air dam however gets the worst of the scraping on my car if I don't take my time on speed bumps or dips at stop lights

I have had some slammed cars and know how not to hit the bumper cover on the ground. Everyone can buy what they want-just saying what I don't buy.

Re: 1 piece front bumper... has anyone bought this?

tony , stick up for your product. is is somewhat forgiving? yheres no doubt we would all like a front bumper that doesn't sag and flex especially at the head lights .and yes it looks great but will it be good for drivers or only trailer queens? I would really love one of theese as I,m restoring the car and jumping back and forth about the bumper as mine is all out of shape. ....sell us on this thing .... give some cust reviews ect. how thick is it ?

A great option indeed!

It might be a bigger deal if your car ever goes on a trailer to go to shows or the track. Some of them need all the clearance they cna get and they'll still bite you.

Yep, When mine got painted, I loaded it on my trailer and scraped it, that was the only time.

But its a street car, and hopefully will not need trailered anymore.
