Re: paint vs. spray vinyl wrap

Vinyl wrap or rubberized coating usually doesn't last as long as paint.

I've never seen spray vinyl wrap before. Is that kinda like hydro printing?

I've seen carbon fiber print vinyl wrap and then stuff like plasti dip which is a rubberized coating that can be sprayed.

Either way some people report vinyl wrap is usually good for 5 years or so. Some say it can discolor in sun light after a year or so, but they might have used the cheap stuff?

Rubberized coating is suppose to be good for 3 years before recoating.
