Installing my megashifter but I have a Question?

I started installing my megashifter last night and I have got to bolting the shifter down. It tells you to drill 2 - 9/32 holes and then bolt it down. My question is which bolts do I use. The ones that originally bolted the old shifter are too small for the holes I drilled. I think i am just going to pick up 2 bigger self tapping bolts.

I have found it pretty easy up to this point but it seems like a lot of it is mickey moused. I particularly don't like the whole taping the park cable closed idea and just having it float in there. I hope to finish it up tonight. Anything you can tell me would be great.

Yes do it your way.......I did mine and found that you follow directions to a certain point and then do what you think is right.

I thought the correct bolts came in the kit.

Mickey moused is the perfect description of the whole shifter, that's why I sent mine back and bought a Quarter Stick.

I was dissappointed to have to hack at so much but I think it will turn out alright. I think I have the shifter back a bit too far but I can deal with that. I just couldn't handle the factory one anymore. Anything is better than that!
