Installing carpeting
Lay it out in the sun for a few hours if you can. That will help take out the wrinkles, and will make it much more plyable.
Don't cut anything ahead of time. find you r seatbelt holes by pushing an awl up from underneath. And don't cut a hole, cut an X or a flap like the factory did, then if you get it wrong you can always push it back down.
If you need to cut near the doors, be careful. It is easy to cut too much away and then when you are done the carpet pulls back and you have an ugly gap.
Vacumn underneath and remove all the old padding before installing the new carpet
Sprinkling a light coating of powdered deodorizer underneath can help too.
Hope this helps.
