Today I saw an add on craigslist that a guy was cleaning up some of the Firebird parts he had laying around. I gave him a call because I was looking for a set of black sill plates. He said he had a set for $20 so I agreed to come buy them. When I get there I bought the sill plates and asked what other parts he had. He offered to take me out and show me what he had. He had an old house trailer full of mostly 2nd gen stuff, and I spot a 3rd gen Power Bulge Firebird hood. He said he'd sell it for $100! We carried it out of the trailer into the sunlight and it looked good, not dents or rust. I paid him the $100 immediately! Someone painted it flat black so I'll have to give it a good sanding and clean it up so it can be painted with the rest of my car this summer. I am stoked, really liked the looks of these hoods and now I finally have one!
