I'm in the process of changing my interior in an '88 convertible from gray to black. Have all the carpet, belts, and plastic in there but still need to recover door panels, rear speaker panels and seats. Does anyone have picks of any of these pieces (custom deluxe interior) or the black leather seats installed? Especially interested in black leather firebird 4th gen seats installed if anyone has pics of them in a camaro.

 

Dude I am in the middle of doing the exact same with with my 86 IROC. The interior was grey and i'm converting it to black. My old grey fabric seats I got redone in black leather with IROC-Z emroidered in red on them.. Looks very sweet much better than I thought they would look (and I thought they would look awesome). So far two things were a real pain in the *** 1. getting the seatbelts off the bolts were in there so tight i stripped 3 of them 2. redoing the t-top headliner (I just couldn't get the stupid black fabric **** to stick properly I ended up taking it into a shop to get done). But other than that its gone pretty smooth this weekend I will be putting everything back together.

 

I have converted from light grey to black. Just need to do the door panels and t-top headliner. I installed some 4th Gen 96 Camaro SS black leather power seats (driver seat is power) in my 86 Trans Am.
I initally painted the grey plastic black, but the paint scraped off too easily, so I went to a local scrap yard and got all the black plastic interior parts from an 87 Camaro.

all you people want to go to black, MINE HAS BLACK hahaha, ummm....no really, I am selling my all black front NightRider Seats, the one with the holes in the head rest. The car was tinted deep so the seats are not faded at all and there are no rips or tears.

 

NEED TO SEE PICS AND HOW MUCH? ARE YOU SELLING THE REAR SEATS ALSO ALONG WITH DOOR PANELS. EMAIL ME FIRST, THEN POST FOR EVERYONE ELSO(LOL).
