89 IROC 350 TPI with original paint
Who here has an 89 IROC with the 350TPI, that still has original paint on their car? I have a question that needs to be settled between a friend of mine and I, so if you folks could help me out...thanks!!!

Why don't you just ask the question? People with original paint aren't the only ones that can necessarily help.

Ok...good point...I do apologize if I stepped out of line there...
My question is, on an 89 IROC, with the 350 TPI, is there a decal under the IROC-Z badge (located behind the front tires), that reads 5.7L Tuned Port Injection? I am curious if this is supposed to be there...did it come as an option on some models only. The reason I am asking those who have original paint is to establish quickly if they have it or not. My 89 has stripe delete option with no Tuned Port designation under the IROC emblem, yet another car with the striping has the labelling...he said it is supposed to be there...I have original paint and he does not...would just like to settle the dispute once and for all you know?

If you didnt opt for any stripe delete options, or anything of that sort, then yes, that decal came stock on 5.7L IROC's.
