CUP HOLDERS

I got a good idea for cup holders. In my father 97 Ford Contour 2.5V6(Ford did a great job with thi whole car), The cup holders pop out of the cenert console. You push them in and they fold up and they only take up a littl space. I will draw something to illistrate this tonight. I am defintially geting two of these when I go to the junkyard to get my engine and front spoiler. I just thought of this lastnight. I can't believe I did no this of this sooner.

really, my fathers didn't, but then again they don't get abused. Anyway, I think Ford has a good idea with those cupholders. I am gonna try it. I will try and obtain some when I go get a 350, and hood and grill for my brothers lumina.

The door mounted cup holders with map pockets from 90+ Firebirds is easier. It turns out the mounting locations are already in the inner door panel. Just pop in some of the square plugs, poke 3 holes in the outer door panel and install. Much more enjoyable now rather than holding a drink between the knees. 8^)

The ones in the door are sharp for sure. I you bigger than average sized however its a real bitch to use them while driving. I bought one that I mounted where the power window controls would b on a car so equipped.

It works for me and my passengers just have to hold their own
