i want to put some autometer gauges in my car, what are the size of the stock speedo and tach? also what are the size of the water temp, fuel level, volts gauges.

 

The volts, water temp and fuel level guages are like 1 and something inches. The speedo and tach are 5", I believe. To run all autometer guages in the dash, you'd need to make a custom panel, and use 3 3/8 speedo and tach, and 2 1/16" fuel, volts and water gages. Don't forget you'd now need an oil pressure gage. I would recommend keeping the stock volts, fuel and water gages, and putting 5" in-dash replacements over the tach and speedo that match. Then you can install a couple gages on the a-pillar, all that match. I was going to do this but I need an electrical speedo, and my dash cracked, so I opted for a 4thgen dash. Look in the old threads, I think I saw some threads pertaining to this with some pics awhile back.

 

Whiterocz,I am doing this right now.I ordered the dash plate,the sam one that came in the Silver Streak camaro.$145 comes in billet.Got the 3 3/8 electrinic speedo and tach,and 3 2 1/16 gauges.The panle is neat.Email me if you are interested in doing this swap I got quite a bit of info on how to do it.
