changing from black stripe to grid taillights
i put grid type taillights on my car because they look better imo.my problem is although they are hard against the sheetmetal the outer ends are very unlevel compared to the body.i put the stock one back on and it is level.anyone else had this problem?i tried searching.

Do you have the gasket in on the ends of the grid lights? Sometimes they fall off and it can look like the light isn't in all the way. Are they fully seated? I've had one get hung up on the threads of the outer stud. Needed a good smack to get it all the way in. Otherwise they should bolt in and fit just like the other ones.

Looks like its hitting something on the bottom somewhere, they should fit right in like your stock ones. Take them back off and see if there something sticking out or check the wiring harness, maybe its keeping the bottom from going back all the way. Hope ya figure it out!
