My power mirror control is playing up. When I switch to left all th eoptions work right,left,up,down. When I switch to right mirror, it iwll go up and down. But I cannot get it to go left right. It does sometimes but only by accident. I want to take out the controls and have a look at them. How do you get them out???? I have played with it for a while and I cannot find anything to undo the plastic screws. Anyone have any idea?

 

I don't have them on my IROC but I have messed with them on other vehicles. Since I don't have them I can't tell you how to take out the switches for sure, but they are usually just held in by folding tabs. I had a similar problem on another vehical and all I had to do was clean the contacts. I don't know how all that stuff gets on there but that is what my problem was.

The two front screws are fake. Remove the two rear screws then rotate the switch and pull rearward. There is a plastic tab at the front holding it in place. If you test it and discover the problem isn't the switch, but is the right side electric mirror motor e-mail me or post again. I can help with that as well. Good luck, Lon.
