Question about installing "new" 3rd gen seats...
First off, howdy all, I've been a lurker for some time here but this is my first post!
I've got a source for a set of used black cloth seats from an 88 to put in my 85 Berlinetta, who's seats are ratty, plus I'm redoing the whole interior in dark gray/black. The problem is I've got the 6-way power driver's seat and split rear seats, but the "new" seats are manual fronts and solid back in the rear.
Is there a way to easily transfer the power stuff to my new driver's seat and also can I just drop the solid rear seat right in?
Thanks

Oops, sorry I didn't see this post:

in my search. At least this answers the rear seat question, but what about the front manual to power part?

What I've heard is that all you have to do is take the seat track off the manual seat and install the power track. Should be a direct swap.

The only thing about swapping tracks is, you gotta have the same style new seat in order for the controls to swap over too. My point is, I bought 95 Formula seats and couldn't swap the power track over from my old seats because there was nowhere to mount the controls. Just something to consider.
