so the door effects would be different also? Do you happen to k.ow the width of the door effects? The reason im asking is I have a set of fiberglass doors with built in effects and I need to match the skirts.I assume you have to use the same year of bumper cover also?

I do not have the exact measurements but overall height difference is ~1.5 to 2". There are also slight mounting differences, basically right before the rear wheels. My 82 used the old button style mounting that GM used for trim in the 70s (that it snaps into), the 85 ones I have on the car have a stud that goes through a hole and has a nut on the inside of the car.

does anyone have the exact measurements on the skirt and door piece? This way I can measure what I actually have on the door and get the correct skirts when I look at them. The pic in the above post helps but I want to be sure.
