VERY complicated-how does the ashtray lid work?
After spending a week putting my interior back in, the last thing that I need is some stupid piece of wire driving me insane. If anyone is familiar with the wire I'm talking about that closes the lid on the ashtray, please, save my sanity and tell me how it connects and moves. It got bent on me as well, so let me know what shape it's supposed be. Thanks.

I don't think I have a wire but a plate. I ripped it out because it wouldn't close the lid. Still works fine.
