notchback(ya right) I feel sorry for people in KY.

This might get locked but I need to vent. I just got back from the most disappointing road trip ever. I live in MI where my junkyard tipped me off to a junkyard in KY that claimed to have a notchback GTA just in last week. I called down and they confirmed they did, I even had them check the yard to make sure. So I drive down to KY get to the junkyard and the only thing they have pulled is the rusted out piece of s*** normal hatch of a 86 firebird. I walk into the building and they tell me that is a notchback. After telling them that is not a notchback he tells me thay are all the same. So long story short I drive 16 hours, spend over $100 in traveling, and get an I'm sorry but well sell you this rusted one for 4 times what I can get nice ones up here for. To make it even worse they new I was driving far, they had nice hatches in the yard and they want to sell me the worst one they had, and claim they are not at fault. So now I guess I have to wait for aftermarket ones to be made, or find somewhere that actually has a notchback(good luck on that).

Hey man,
I know how you feel, I drove 3 hour to RI to get GTA rims that the juck yard claimed to have. come to find out they had a GTA (Non-Notchback) with stock 14s they though were chome because they were painted. To make a long story short I ended up getting a good set of 15" Turbo Fin Wheel from my junk yard and those are great. The next time i go to the Junk Yard i will look for a Notchback for you, who knows maybe i'll get lucky.

Rob
