Lexan T-tops..?

I was up in my parnets attic the other day working on the A/C unit, and saw an old set of lexan T-tops I had stashed away for about 15+ years, question is, how rare are these? Worth?
The tops are a bit beat up with scuffs/scratches but their complete.

Rarer perhaps, but not worth much unless they are perfect.

Re: Lexan T-tops..?

They're somewhat rare as most people swapped them for glass since they don't hold up to the elements and normal use.

Like 86TA said though, they're not gonna go for much unless they're in super nice condition. They can be made to look nice if you don't mind a little hard work.

Re: Lexan T-tops..?

The Lexar tops are lighter but will bow up an pop out of the center rail at higher speeds, so I have heard. ;-).

Re: Lexan T-tops..?

I bought a new 89 RS that had lexan tops. Within a few weeks they had begun to warp/leak and would rise up at highway speed. Got them swapped out for glass under warranty.

My new 92 came with lexan. I also have an extra set of tops. Both of them have crazed/crackled. They look pretty decent painted over with gloss black.

I was thinking or doing this. I don't have any bowing issues with the ones on my car.
