Has anyone ever thought about or did do this? Putting blue or any other color bulb in tailights/turnsignals to make the red part purple and the turnsignal green with blue bulbs?

could work, just hope you don't slow down or flip on a signal in front of a cop, they'll jump on you like nothin else.

 

i had red in mine for a while, it's no big deal.. it just looks red.. also if you put blue in it just looks like you have a blue bulb.... red's better

 

A kid I work with has an 89 Formula and he put blue bulbs in the front turn signals. Looks green and in my opinion, bad.

I have put blue bulbs in my front sidemarkers b4,, they do turn green & quite nasty looking(IMO). I've thought about some blue opaque paint for the tails,, just to lazy to go get it to try out

Ok now lets not get into a rice war, I guess it is kinda rice though.

 

Guess that means that i must be a ***** too....for all I did was put red turn signal bulbs in my amber turn signal housings right up front next to the headlights. Two days later, i got pulled over, and took them out. So, i guess i should go get the stove ready for the uncle bens, because my car was such a *****.

BTW, to everyone with SOME braincells left....my TA looked a hell of alot meaner with those lights on...just the turn signals...the red really shined nicely, and made it look "demonic." I never tried blue, i dont think it would look good. But yea..red was awesome.
