I've been toying with the idea lately. I'm planning on putting a good ol' gas guzzler in my IROC (along with classic plates so I'm legal), so I'll probably have to replace some of my gauges. It looks like the lightbulb panel behind the gauges would have to go; there's just not enough room there. As far as the metal panel is concerned, I can get one made cheap... My company does some CNC machining. I have priced out some gauges (eight to be exact), all of them are Auto Meter Pro-Comp gauges. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to spend upwards of about $500. I guess you gotta pay for precision...
Hey blue you said with classic car plates you will be emission ok? Do they exempt your car or are there different standards? Is that the same in every state or more inportantly Arizona? Thanks A lot. Bobby

From what I understand, here in Pennsylvania, a classic plate exempts the car from emissions testing when it gets inspected. The car has to be at least 15 years old, too. My father has a 1967 Camaro with a classic plate... he can do pretty much anything he wants to with the engine, exhaust, etc. I'm not sure about how it is in Arizona but it should be a similar case.
