my trip meter is completely screwed, when you reset it, it sometimes goes back only to 100 and it wont record distance past 555. does anyone know how to fix this?

It is usually caused by a broken plastic piece on the trip odometer. Mine does the same thing, but I've been too lazy to see if I can fix it yet. I've heard that sometimes you can fix it, and sometimes you need to replace.

i just replaced my whole gauge cluster because it was freaking out and my trip didnt work either. so i bought a whole other cluster from the junkyard and it's broke too..
