Hood Question

One quick question. Should there be a gap between the leading edge of the hood and top edge of the nose of a Camaro, or should the hood sit right on the top of the nose?

yeah, there needs to be a little gap otherwise with the vibrations of driving, the two surfaces rub together and your paint will come off.

I thought so, I can't seem to get a gap between mine. I'll have to do some major body panel alignment over the winter.

the only thing that should need to be adjusted is the two rubber stops up front.

also, you could try bumping up the latch mechanism.

the hood sits flush with the top of the fenders along the entire edge, I'll try adjusting the latch. I'm going to need to get a new front bumper cover when I do the body work this winter. This one has never fit right, even when the previous owner had the car.
