swapping clusters

I have an 82 camaro that was originally a 2.8(now a 355)
does anyone know what clusters are a direct bolt in, I have the 85mph spedo and no tach right now and it pisses me of every time I look at them

thanx in advance

Rich

Up to a 90 (or 89,, I forget) should swap in no problem (just plug the cluster in). However, if you have the idiot lights (which I'm guessing you do w/the no tach thing), you will need the proper sensors to make the gauges work (like the bell shaped oil press sensor & the temp sensor). A warning too,, the replacement Temp. sensors are very inaccurate (reading way high), if poss. get an OEM sensor from a TPI car from a junkyard, they aren't true either,, but way closer to 'true' temp. Assuming the ECM is gone as well, I'm not awfully sure how you would get the tach to work right, mine just worked when I plugged it into my camaro.
