Just removed the interior . . . . what the hell are these for???

Just removed the interior . . . . what the hell are these for???

I have all the carpet and padding out and behind where the rear seats go there are two foam blocks. Underneath that foam are some rusty nuts, about a size 19mm. Can I remove these to clean them up or will my car like break in half. Thanks.

Your car shouldn't break in half,but you will have very rattly shocks if you do.If you look where their at and look at the rear tires,cause they are a pretty close match to each other.

Those are the upper shock mounts for your rear shocks.
