Tire/Wheel Question
Tire/Wheel Question
All,
I was not sure where to put this but here it goes. I recently bought new tires for my '88 Camaro and noticed that the wheels have cast on them the designation "front" and "rear". Does this mean these wheels are specifically designed only to be used on the front or back? They are the "IROC" style 16x8 wheels. My question is: Can I rotate the wheels when it comes time to rotate? Or must I leave them where they are at? Please help!

Nope, you can't rotate them. They have different offsets.
If you put the wheels marked "rear" on the front, they will rub. The rubbing could cause a blowout.

if you can find 2 fronts somewhere you can run them on front and back.It makes it much easier when rotating tires,no need to dismount them......
