Unless you're a fiberglass wizzard, I'd be willing to bet your results would be less than anticipated.

Anything is possible, been around Fiberglass for many years now, Just sounds like fun..
Why be Like everyone else...
I might even be able to produce the pieces...
The company that I work for makes windshields and windows for a guy that races INDY or FORMULA 1, he used to Gace GTP, anyway, he does alot of his own fiberglass work for several cars.
The secret is to take your time and do it right.

Actually I am thinking of using a fiberglass/Steel frame with a "Great Stuff" foam padding. I would cover it all in vynal.

I think your on to something. Make a dash so custom guages would look normal in it. I wouldn't use great stuff foam though. I've heard of a company that recovers muscle car dashes and I'm sure they could wrap the dash for you. It was an article in a chevy mag on it.

okfoz,
If you do it, show progress with pics, as I don't like the third gen dash at all and would be interested in your idea. OR, you could recreate the 4th gen dash to 3rd gen dimensions and make quite a few dollars.

That is one fine looking interior. I suppose it could be done, but its going to take A LOT of fiberglass and A LOT of time. If you try this, be sure to show pics of your progress.

I didnt' create a whole new dashboard, i just redid the gauge cluster.
I used lexan glass instead of the pastic smoked it gunmetal grey, changed the layout some, and put a gauge pod on the A-pillar, so far so good, soon we'll see if they work
