Yea I'm pretty sure you'll get plenty of fumes inside. My question is why? I just don't hink it'll be worth the effort. Its you car but I just don't see any reason to do it...

On the other hand you could pull up to the gas station, sit in the car, and watch the gas station attendant frantically search for the gas door

There was actually a quite lengthly & somwhat detailed discussion about this a little while back on either this boad or the appeareance & detaliling board,, do a search for it, you might find some answers to your question.

I saw a full size chevy truck with the filler inside the bed,

and a blader with it behind the taillight, and one with it in the wheel well.

the one i saw in the wheel well, had a door that opened and a piece swung out to hold the filler nozzle, their was aflexible hose going to the filler neck... dunno what it was made of.. but when it was closed you couldnt tell it was their.
