I'm a little confused on your question. Though I have little experience putting the interior back in...or taking it out for that matter, I can tell you something you should do while it's out. www.b-quiet.com Cheaper than dynomat works just as good if not better. Good thing to use while it's out. AS for how hard it is to put back in, don't know... who took it out.

It isn't hard to put it all back together, just remember to be patient. It all fits but. it only fits one way, don't force anything or you will really mess up. If you can't get something back in then take a break then try it again. It you do break a plastic part or you already have a broken one, I have had good repairs with crazy glue on the underside, using tiny drops at a a time. I hope you do ok!

Don't use too much glue when you lay the carpet or it will be a pain to get out if needed. Make sure the rails on the seats are even(happens when the adjustment rail is pushed) or else you'll be like me and scratch your head for an hour. Don't over tighten anything plastic or it will break. Good Luck.

Maybe someone should have given you this tip earlier but when I took my interior apart, I took each screw, put it through the hole in the panel I took it out of, and tied it of with a twist tie. So now all my panels are stored with their screws, so I know which screw goes where. Should make assembly a little easier.

It's not hard to put it back together. It's just hard to find the motivation to do it.

the plastic panels are simple to remember, theres only the big plastic screws and a few regular screws to remember. the door panels are self explanatory. it is a good idea to use a sound deadener while it is all out though. it is also a good idea to prime and repaint all of the paneling while it is out. the only hard part i see if replacing a t top headliner, that little dome light with a rivet, i still havent figured out to get it back on correctly, oh well.

It shouldn't be hard i am really motivated when it comes to my car its my baby. The only thing that scares me is behinfd where the driver seat goes there is a wierd dent that looks like someone took a screw driver and went underneath the car and tried to make a whole up through what could cause that?but the floors arn't bad in the back seats where there suppose to go there is a bit of bubbles but where the seats bolt on its was quit rusty the rug was ruined.what kinda price should i look forward to payin to get a good carpet that fits back in it?

took me 5 hours to get out. and 4 hours to get it all back in minus carpet. my carpet was shot. i beat on it all day and the thing is still full of sand from when i used to live on the beach. when you put the center console back in, be careful, that plastic is really flemsy.

no adhesive needs to be used on molded carpet.Nothing can be put in wrong.molded carpet front and back will run $200 for acc.The clips on the dome light can be bought at the auto parts store in the HELP section.Just squeeze the clips and they come loose, the new ones just push on.Sound deadner is nice but you will be surprised on how much it weighs. You need to take care of the rust before doing anything.

definately take care of the rust..... no question.

i can vouch for acc, the make excellent carpet; only little trimming here and there is needed.

definately label all parts so that install will go much smoother.

I wouldn't waste my time with sound deadner, unless your going for competition just by a new muffler (unless your running 4" exhaust or more, then you might want it .)

as far as glue, the molded carpets don't really need it so whats the point.

basically you remove everything connected to the floor; ie. seats, carpet, center console, etc.

lay your new carpet down in the spot you want it, you may have to cut a little for the center console and the edges so your door sills will go in. other than that make sure you cut holes for you bolts once your carpet is where you want it (i just pushed down on the bolts and made slits for the bolt to slide through, this worked great) and then the rest is just reassembling.

a little time consuming yes, but don't be in a rush and things will work out good.

good luck

what I always do is put all the screws for one peice in a ziplock bag and label it. It's a lot of bags, but it'll make things easier to put back together. You might need the square plastic clips that hold on the rear panels, those usually break and you can get them from GM.
