How hard to tighten mirrors?
I was wondering how difficult it would be to tighten up the side view mirrors on our doors. When I'm driving around, they kinda rattle a little bit, and it gets annoying, so I'd like to tighten them and make the noise stop.

Do you mean the whole housing, or just the mirror itself. If you just mean the mirror itself, I don't know. If you mean the entire housing, take off the door panel and you should be able to get to it. I was going to do mine myself, but when I had my alarm installed, I got the guy to do it for me.
Mine rattled too. It was my actual mirror though. I twisted the mirror the whole way to one side. There was a screw in there that was a little loose. If yours is like mine(91 bird) than just tighten up the screws and it should be rattle free.
Well, take the door panel off, you may have to adjust the window posistion after (DONT SCRATCH THE TINT. Personal experience
just tighten it down. Do it now though! Mine fell off (driver side) and it didnt give much warning at all...broke the manual adjustment cable that goes to the inside, and I scratched my tint some more cause I had to keep it on the inside (raining when it happend.)
