Serious console shifter question.
Ive seen on a website that the console megashifter for 86-92 camaros and firebirds will not fit formulas of the same year. Is this correct. Is the formula console different from other camaros and firebirds?
If so can it still work? Any info would be great. by the way mine is a 1988 formula 350.

As far as I know all the pieces are the same for firebird->Formula->Trans AM->GTA
I have used parts from one to another and am baffled on what would be different. I know I have an 85 T/A center console piece that I took some pieces off of and it appears to be identical to my 87 Formula.

u have to trim a bit on the shifter plate, thats it, they didnt want people getting it, and not relising that they can fix the prob so they just said, doesnt work....
