how do you remove a windsheild from a 3rd gen?

how do you remove a windsheild from a 3rd gen?

i need a windsheild out of an 85 z28 for my 88 iroc, how do i get it out?

its nearly imposible to get the windsheild out without cracking it, and you need secial tools. but if you really want to try it, take off all the things around the outside of the window, then cut off all the silicone, the way the glass replaces do it is they have a special tool, like a hook that they stick in one of the lower corners, and pull it, but it always cracks the glass

i had to get my windshield replaced and i had it done professionally. one of my good friends cousin used to do it so he got it done cheap for me but it is almost impossible to take a winshield out with out cracking it. it only costs like 100-150$ to get it done professionally and id rather pay the extra cash to not have the agrivation.
