T-Tops stuck in lock position

I picked up a pair of t-tops but the only problem is that they are in the locked position and I don't have the key to unlock them. Is there any way I can get them into the unlock position without destroying the lock mechanism?

It may be possible to remove the plastic panel on the underside of the T-top and mess with the mechanism. It might take a little ingunuity, but I believe it is possible.
