Carpet question

Ok i had a guy install a carpet, i got ripped off and he did a horrible job. In several locations the carpet is bunchy. This happens in the rear hatch when it dips down and also by the rear seats... what can i do to flatten and tighten it up. I really want the carpet to look nice since it is new.

The carpet should be divided into 2 sections, the hatch area & the passenger area. If you fold your back seat down, you should be able to grab ahold of the carpet and pull it toward the front of the car. That would help with certain wrinkles.

I thought our cars had a 3 section carpet front seat back seat then hatch? Id just look around to see if he didnt get the carpet tucked in all the way. that would make it bunch up some. There is custom fit carpets for our cars. Did he use them?
