sequintial turn signals?

i was thinking about taking the turn signal assembly and relays off of an old cougar, and figuring out how to wire them into my brake/turn signals. I want to retain the current rear gta style setup, so i might have to drill some holes or something.
anybody else thought of this?
with the rear tail assembly blackout piece, it would like tight as hell.

I know it would be alot better to make your own. I thought it would look REALLY kewl on a T/A. The original Cougar/T-bird tailights sequentials were prone to breaking.

I have NO idea how to do it, but ask around to some Electronics stores (radio Shack MAYBE) and see what they come up with. it is a pretty simple circut if I remember correctly.

The biggest obstical you will have is keeping the brake lights from also being sequential.

It might be hard to do on a Camaro because they seem to only use one light for the turn signal.

Funny this should come up. For my digital electrnics class, I have to design a circuit that does just what you want to do. I'm not sure how you would exactly implement it in a car, but when I finsh, I can scan and post the circuit.

I think their are sequential taillights blinker kits for 99+ mustangs, you might want to look into it. I think its a cool idea.

Check out Impala SS forums I've seen alot of them with this, and have thought of doing it myself several times. At Impalapalooza 3 years ago I must of seen 15-20 SS's who did this.

Better check your state laws. Those are illegal in ohio. Unless they are factory.

If they are illegal in your state, get yourself some emblems for your rear bumper that state: "Special Edition" and claim that "this is a REALLY RARE option..." there are certain limitations to it, like you cant use it for a super dark windshield. But most cops would not care, unless they are ******...
