I have no means of cutting plastic or anything like it, anyone who has made a panel for the switches in the ash tray or in the hole by the shifter, could you post how much you would want to make me one and ship it to me?
Please it would be greatly appreciated

The only tools you need is a dremmel with a cut off disk and sanding drum attachment, and a small file.
You will need something to cut away everything that currently resides under the ash tray now if you plan on fitting 2 window switches and mirror switch in there.
This is my old style with just the window switches...
And the new one with all 3...

That looks great! Could you perhaps post a template of the one with the 3 online? It would make making one much easier. That's the best design I've seen so far.
Honestly it was done on the fly and now that it's epoxied to the shift plate, I don't think I'd be able to pull it out for creating a template.
If I could get my hands on an unmodified shift plate for a few days, I think I could come up with another copy and create a template for people, but I don't know that I'll have the opportunity to have an unmodified 4th gen console in the near future.
If anyone is in the south florida area and looking to do this mod, let me know and I could get it done that way maybe.

I got some plexi and some industrial strength plastic bonder Epoxy and when I get a chance to use my friends dremel, I will give it a shot. I think I want to cover the plexi with some material of some kind.
