Plastic Air Chisel Scrapers?

So last night I started the new project. Pulled the rear end and started removing the undercoating.... Im going after exhaust and fuel tank/lines today so I can get everything out of my way. We (my girlfriend and I) did start on the undercoating removal last night and it was slow going but do-able. I noticed that the plastic scraper works OK but would work even better with air! Does anyone make a plastic air chisel bit that can be used with air hammers? Basically what I am trying do to is make a pneumatic plastic scraper to use that will prevent damage to the metal underneath.

I would think that they would just break off once you put pressure on them.

At a straight on angle, yeah there's that chance but considering the length and composition they would probably bend over which would aid some in trying to follow the contour of the given surface. If I am holding the ones I have now in one hand and "palming" them with considerable force with the other on the hard thick spots and it works fine... they should have no problem holding up for a while when used properly. I did find these but they would be too stout.

Have you been heating the undercoating up before you scrape on it?

No, Im not sure I want to try that route considering the interior is still in there. I hear it works good tho.
