Original Seats reupholstered?
I would like to get the original driver seat from my 84 T/A reupholstered. Only the bottom "seat" part is torn, the rest of the seat (and the other seats) are just about perfect. Has anyone had their seats reupholstered? Any guestimates on cost? Thanks for any help.
BTW, the car currently has a set of 4 seats from a 98 Firebird, they are nice, but id like to get the original seats back in for originalities sake

Four TransAm's are not enough. Firebirds for all.

Call to some upholstery shops, they could tell you better than we could, unless someones an upholsterer.
I would think it would be under $500 for one seat. There is a place here in Flint (which probably does you no good) that would probably do all my seats in cloth for around 1000 or so. Use the Yellow pages.
Just a thought, you might want to do all your seats because the material might not match your old stuff because of fading, dirt, etc.
have them do the door panel inserts too.

Thanks for the response.
Upon further investigation it looks like what I want done would be pretty easy to do myself. I think I will give it a try.
