I think you have to pull the weather striping off to get to the bolts that hold it on. that is what I did when I pulled them off a '91 RS. If anybody knows of a way to pull them off without removing the weather striping then let us know!

Your welcome. Just be careful pulling the weatherstripping out it could break if you pull to fast. Something to consider if you are trying to save yours.

Re: Drip Rail Molding Removal

There isn't a way to take them off without the weatherstripping coming off. Gently remove that- that gives you access to the screws that hold the strip rail over the drip rail. Remove those and the drip rail should just pull out. Reinstall screws and weatherstripping. And glue the weatherstripping in! Mine isn't because I am going to strip it back for paint, and I have to be careful when washing the car as the water can blow right under the weatherstripping and into the interior, particularly if you get lazy and run it through a car wash the first time- ASK ME HOW I KNOW!!

Thanks guys, and no I don't plan on saving it the weatherstripping needs replaced and I doubt I will since it is going to be a drag car.
