Does anyone have pics of where they installed their MSD 6A or 6ALs....

I've tried to install my MSD 6AL on the drive side fender where the windshield reservior was located, however the hump of the fender doesn't offer a level surface...Any other suggestions.....

If you're really dedicated,, you can move crap around & mount it here...

I had to mount mine here, I might relocate it, though.

Hey guys, I've been looking at the 6AL and I saw a kit in the Summmit Catalog for only $244.95. What all would this kit give me? I don't really know alot about the whole iginition stuff. Does this kit just have the lil red box? I always saw MSD ignition as something really expensive I could never afford. I'd appreciate it if someone could give me a crash course to understand what this does/how it works. Thannks.

My friend mounted his on the passenger side kickpanel. I like that because it is in and out of the weather. Canadian weather sucks in the Maritimes.

I have a TBI car and put a Crane High 6 in the nose where the TPI guys have thier air filters.
It ruined the radio signal though. Serious interference! Are the MSD boxes bad about that too?

Does it matter if the box is layed flat (battery tray area) or mounted on the firewall or mouted like that red interior (looks sweet)? I thought I read somewhere on this board...Also, doesn't MSD boxes make alot noise if put inside interior?

For $244 it should come with a coil and bracket and adaptor for the dist cover.
Jegs sells the 6AL alone for $171 or so.
