Will a 91 formula front clip bolt up on to my 89 formula?

 

If the 91 bumper that your getting is the same as the one on my 92 down below in my sig, then your gonna need the whole front end from the 91 your getting it from... get the inner bumper, outer bumber cover, fog lights and turn signals from it... pretty much everything but the headlights.

The base firebird (WITHOUT GROUND FX) and Formulas did not use the side skirting so you should be fine. All Formulas from 87-92 use the same fenders & hood.

The only thing you might want to get when you do the conversion are the headlight assemblies, they are different. Your 89 headlights assemblies will work, but you have to remove the bezel, then you have nothing on the side when your lights are up and it looks tacky. You can modify your headlight cover to work with the 91-92 bezel, BUT the actual headlights ARE smaller on 91 & 92, so the bezels will NOT work on an early headlight.

So what you should need:

Bumper & inner bumper
parking light housings & get the wires
Headlight assemblies.
The bumper underside airdams etc.
