T-Tops 92 Camaro RS Leak
T-Tops 92 Camaro RS Leak
Hi Guys I'm having problems with my T-Tops leaking WHO DOESNT? =) I replaced both of them with some Glass T's from a 92 Z28 but they seem to still leak around the edges and it whistles like mad driving down the road. Kinda annoying and not real much fun with the wife in the car going through the car wash =)
I went and bought some Automotive weatherstripping and put them in around areas that I thought were leaking air into the car but when you seal up one then another pops up. I went to Chevy and they want 118.00 for each side of the car for new weatherstripping.
I'm just curious whether anyone has any experience or some trick to get them to seal. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
Nathan

Have you adjusted them? behind the A-Piller cover where the lock pic goes for the T-Top there is an adjustment screw to allow you to lower the t-top to snug it up.. sounds to me thats what you need to do.

Freak Man!...$118 per side..geesh thats steep!..I would first try ajusting them, like the above post had said, that should help out alot.Mine leaked a little plus the freakin wind noise drove me crazy, especially the wind noise of me passing a MUSTY-stang!!..hehehe..:8^)..i ajusted them,no more leaks nor wind noises,as far as new weatherstriping,Classic Industries sells the "complete" 8 piece OEM kit(both sides)for your particular vehicle for $149.95.
