Got a leak

So my car has been smelling a bit musty for a while and I thought it was the T-top or hatch seals. I finally did some testing and searching and here's what I found. Took the car through a car wash and not 1 drop from the tops. Tested the seals around the tops, windows and hatch with a piece of paper and they all seem good. The car has been sitting outside lately and after a long rain I noticed there was water puddled up where the drivers side rear seat bottom should be (rear seats are out at the moment). Seems like there was a wet trail on the carpet from the door to the well. Could this be my door seal?? Car is a 1992 BTW. Also what's the best way to get the musty smell out of the car?? Thanks

Re: Got a leak

Did you look UNDER the seat? You could have a hole in the floor.

Re: Got a leak

I was in the car through out the car wash and nothing came in so I don't think having someone hold a hose would do it. Seems that it happens with it rains all day.

No holes in the floor. I was under there inspecting the under carriage when I pulled the motor and trans for my LS swap. Car is solid.

Has anyone heard of the door seals leaking? Where the door and body meet under the window.

Re: Got a leak

My 89 GTA also has a weird leak like that. The drivers side rear seat get a drip from the rear plastic ceiling panel. I have removed it and seen water drip out the hole the screw goes in to hold the panel up too. Not sure how water is getting in and t-top seals in the center near the t-bar are tight. Any suggestions would be fantastic!
