Iroc trunk spoiler only - no flares

Hey guys

I've taken a 92 and swapped the deck lid, but have not added the side flares, and since its a 92, the fenders don't have the holes.

I'm debating adding the flares. The 'lip' look, is growing on me.

What do you think?

Best,

It's definitely a unique look. Your Camaro looks to be in pretty good shape so I don't think you really should cut holes into the rear quarters. It's your car though so do what you feel is necessary.

See if you can make the sides one piece and not let it touch the side 1/4 panel. I always wondered if it could be done

I've wondered the same RockJay. I have always wanted a hawks 5" spoiler, but refuse to drill holes in my quarter.

Re: Iroc trunk spoiler only - no flares

Why don't you try using double sided adhesive and remove the bolts so you don't drill any holes?

I thought about the double sided tape. I guess I'm worried that if the General used 3 bolts, the air catching them probably means they come under some load.

I'm first trying to decide if I even want to put them on. I kinda like the way it looks now, which is why I posted.

Re: Iroc trunk spoiler only - no flares

It looks ok, but it looks incomplete. I'm undecided whether I like it or not lol!

If it were mine I would probably mount the corners with the sticky tape, if for nothing else so people wouldn't think I was an underachiever lmao! I definitely wouldn't drill the holes though.

If you do mount them with tape, Lowes carries Scotch/3M brand Extreme mounting tape. It's outdoor rated and 1 sq. in, will hold 20lbs. It's impressive how strong it is.

It looks different, but not in a bad way. If you like it, keep it!
