FRONT BUMPER FIREMARO GRAFTING
so ive seen alot of talk about this, and i had a few extra covers, so i thought, what the hell lets see what it looks like. I realy like it!!! i modified only the front cover so when i paint my car im going to paint both this custom one and a realy nice original one incase i want to go back. I have a ton of photos of the whole process, but didnt know if i wanted to plug up the thread with over 100 pics. so if you would like to see some certain shots i may have them and i can post them if you want.
p.s. im new at this forum thing, im still learning how to set everything up

Re: FRONT BUMPER FIREMARO GRAFTING
Very interesting, Mostly I like what you are doing here, If it were me I would of lowered the camaro's turn signals down to where the fog light were on the Trans Am bumper. But its your design and looks good.

Re: FRONT BUMPER FIREMARO GRAFTING
Yes you bring up a good point, and one I almost did...sort of. I was going to cover the Camaro turn signal Ports, and leave the Trans Am fog light holes. From my mock up it took out the "tough" look, and looked sort of "sadish". You are right tho, it still looked good.

I have extra rear bumpers too. Thinking of shaving it smooth like a Corvette rear end

Re: FRONT BUMPER FIREMARO GRAFTING
Well, i had an hour or so and got to play on the bird. I am almost done with the grill, so the first few pics are of the fitment of it, as you can see only half of the louvers are printed. the rest should be done today. I also got most of the filler sanded, and am ready to put down some finnish coats. For those of you who have not worked with rubber / plastic bumpers, it is a special type of filler you need to use for the flexibility. anyway, ask any questions you like! leave oppinions and ideas!! i love to hear what you think and what you would do otherwise. very interesting to me! thanks for looking and ENJOY!!!!

Re: FRONT BUMPER FIREMARO GRAFTING
I will be usuing the stock trans am one that came with the car. the bottom of that nose is actualy trans am, just the middle is from the camaro donor nose. it kind of seems like i changed it because i had to cut it off. The reason i cut it off is i had to shorten the nose by 1-1/4 of an inch at the ground effect level to meet the spot where i wanted the camaro nose fitting. After trimming out the extra i put it back in its factory location. I hope to put the sides back on today after some sanding and finnish filling and fitting. i will take some shots tonight and post them in the morning.

Re: FRONT BUMPER FIREMARO GRAFTING
alright, here we go, ive got pics!!!!!!!! So, i put the fender skirts on so you can see how its going to fit. I also got it all ready for primer. I hope to do that today. I am probably not going to paint the whole car anytime soon, still working on the motor im going to put in it, but i will be painting the front cover to see if i like the colors. So i guess for those of you who cant wait to see it painted you get kind of half of it. anyway, here ya go!!!!! enjoy

I liked it better with the Camaro center airflow director in there, but it does look cool.

Yeah, are you talking about the place where the license plate went? That was a though call. I liked it there also, then I was like, I would get more air flow. I'm 50/50 on that. Thanks for the comments!! I love to hear what you guys think.
