ok, so i got a 91 RS. my paint is fading to a pink mostly at the ground effects. My car is red, i was thinking about changing the effects to black, good idea or bad idea?

 

IMO - don't do it.

 

I like the camaros in the same color as well. But if I were to two tone it I would not do black, I would go silver, or a charcoal

 

thanks for that picture, that was pretty cool. idk maybe a diferent shade of black and it would look right, if i did the mirrors and gas cap to, i also want stripes on the hood/hatch.

 

The problem with black ground effects is that they tend to "disappear" against the ground under the car.

Matching stripes to the ground effects would look ok, as long as the stripes don't go so low that they connect to the ground effects.

I wouldn't do the mirrors and filler door though, it will look like you pulled them off a JY car and just slapped them on.
