Hail

How much would it cost to have my car fixed? Except for the hood which I can do myself.

Thanks

With T-tops The hood is more than 50% of the surface area with the hail damage, if you can do that, do the rest too.

I used glazing puddy & some filling primer to do mine, and it looks better than new.

I would recommend SANDING down the paint, rather than stripping the paint. If you sand, you will find all the imperfections, whereas if you strip the paint you might miss some spots. Use a long sanding board.

As for cost figure 4K+ for a quality job. in short, chanses are your car would be totaled. QUALITY Paint is not cheep. You could always Maaco it but you take your chances with their cheep paint. JUST the paint for my car was $401.70 in 1997.
