Where to buy ground effect mounting brackets?
Does anyone know where to buy The metal mounting brackets that attach the ground effects to the body? I've been removing my ground effects in preparation for paint and noticed my brackets are extremely corroded and don't really want to put them back on the car after the paint is done. Thanks

I don't know of anyplace that sells them. Possibly gm has some stashed away.
If the brackets just have a little surface rust then wire brush them and POR 15 on top. If they are too rusty for that, esp if the threads are rusty, then time to fabricate new ones. I've had to replace this type of bracket on several jeeps with these methods.

if they are not rotted out too bad you can soak them in apple cider vinegar for a few days..then wash them up and paint them.
